Recently, Lookout Point has been a creative producing partner on Sally Wainwright’s landmark single drama, To Walk Invisible, for the BBC and Oliver Goldstick’s sumptuous series, The Collection, for Amazon Originals. Forthcoming productions include Press, Mike Bartlett’s original contemporary series set in the world of the British newspaper industry, co-produced with BBC Studios and Deep Indigo for the BBC and Masterpiece on PBS, Les Misérables, a major new adaptation from Andrew Davies, co-produced with BBC Studios for the BBC, Gentleman Jack (formerly known as Shibden Hall), written and created by BAFTA-winning Sally Wainwright, the epic story of the remarkable landowner, Anne Lister, for the BBC and HBO and Andrew Davies’ adaptation of Vikram Seth’s modern classic, A Suitable Boy, for the BBC.

Previously, the company financed and co-produced bold dramas including five series of Ripper Street and period epics including War & Peace and Parade’s End.

Separately, Lookout Point recently launched Benchmark Television in collaboration with Access Entertainment and BBC Worldwide, an ambitious initiative which commissions work from established third-party producers and leading writing talent, with full straight-to-series funding.

BBC Worldwide first signed an exclusive co-venture partnership with Lookout Point in 2010, a relationship which has grown to them now owning a 49.9% stake in the business, with a path to full ownership.
