Lookout Point is a London-based independent drama studio that works with the UK’s leading writing, directing and on-screen talent to produce bold and innovative television drama for the global market. Lookout Point’s CEO is Faith Penhale, former Head of Drama at BBC Wales.
Recent credits include Gentleman Jack, the hit BBC One / HBO drama penned by Sally Wainwright and starring Suranne Jones; Andrew Davies’ much lauded adaptation of Victor Hugo’s 19th century classic, Les Misérables, for BBC One and Masterpiece, starring Dominic West, David Oyelowo and Lily Collins; and Mike Bartlett’s bold and provocative newspaper drama, Press, for BBC One and Masterpiece, starring Ben Chaplin and Charlotte Riley. Lookout Point is currently in pre-production on an Andrew Davies adaptation of Vikram Seth’s Indian masterpiece A Suitable Boy, directed by Mira Nair.
Past projects include Andrew Davies’ critically acclaimed adaptation of War and Peace for BBC One, and Sally Wainwright’s landmark single film To Walk Invisible, which followed the extraordinary lives of the Brontë sisters, for BBC One.
