KATE BEESTON - Production Executive

Kate worked as a freelance Unit Production Manager for several years on productions including Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams, Da Vinci’s Demons and extensively across BBC drama productions. More recently Kate worked as a Production Executive with Disney Channel Original Programming team and Disney Studios. Outside tv production Kate has co-owned several family businesses including an organic farm shop and a sustainability consultancy.  At Lookout Point she is Production Executive and oversees a portfolio of the company’s projects.

KASSI CHALK - Development Assistant / Assistant Script Editor

Kassi joined Lookout Point to support the busy development team. After graduating from Cambridge University with a BA in English Literature, Kassi gained experience as a reader and researcher for Sister Pictures. Prior to this, Kassi toured Japan with a production of The Merchant of Venice while working as a theatre-in-education workshop leader.

HUGH DAVIES - Marketing Director

Hugh oversees the marketing of all Lookout Point’s dramas, working with partners to generate standout global campaigns, building programme brands from early development stages, and leading on company comms. After starting out as a strategic planner in advertising, Hugh moved to the BBC in 2009, where he became Head of Marketing, Drama, overseeing campaigns for some of the most talked about shows of recent years including Sherlock, The Night Manager, Peaky Blinders, Taboo, The Missing, Luther, Doctor Foster, and War and Peace. Most recently, he was Head of Marketing and Audiences for BBC Studios.

SARA DURANTE - Business Operations Manager

Sara came to Lookout Point with a background in film production and development, having worked for various producers and directors in Europe and LA, as well as 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant at Paramount Pictures and for the Group CEO at Zodiak Media. At Lookout Point she is the Business Operations Manager and supports Damian Keogh and Saul Venit. Sara holds a Communication Sciences degree from the University of Siena in her native Italy, as well as a Master’s Degree in The Economics and Management of Film and TV Companies.

MIRANDA FLOY - EA to Faith Penhale

Miranda started out in theatre, performing in the UK and Europe. She was a member of the Mercury Theatre Company for ten years. Later she worked in the civil service and in the City before returning to drama and becoming a production assistant. At Lookout Point, she runs the office of Faith Penhale. She has a degree in Drama from the University of Manchester and an MA in Writing from the University of Warwick.

COLIN HOPKINS - Financial Controller

Colin joined Lookout Point in 2018, having worked previously at Tiger Aspect Productions and eOne Features. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010, becoming a Manager in the media department of a Soho-based accountancy firm, where he worked closely with several UK film and TV production companies, as well as a number of high-profile British actors, producers and film directors. He has a degree in History from the University of Manchester.

WILL JOHNSTON - Executive Producer

Will is an Executive Producer on A Suitable Boy and a broad slate of established and emerging creative talent. He is passionate about fearless, ambitious drama.

Will spent two years as Head of Development at Lookout Point, balancing new projects with work on Les Misérables and Gentleman Jack. He first started working with Faith and Laura at BBC Wales Drama, script editing Andrew Davies’ War & Peace and Sally Wainwright’s To Walk Invisible. His career in development started in 2012 as an Action! intern for Working Title Films.

DAMIAN KEOGH - Managing Director

Damian is Managing Director at Lookout Point and is responsible for driving the commercial operations and strategic development of the company, having previously performed the role of Head of Drama at BBC Worldwide. He started his television career as a freelance producer with Flying Pictures and Pearson, where he worked on big factual and entertainment productions. Damian then joined and ran Skyworks, an independent production company making factual series for major UK and international broadcasters.

CELIYA KOSTER - Office Assistant

Celiya Koster works at Lookout Point as an office assistant helping to assist the team here alongside coordinate the office. Celiya first joined the company as part of our office runner scheme in 2017, which she began after gaining a Cultural and Creative Industries degree at City University of London. During university, Celiya worked in several television productions as an extra.

LAURA LANKESTER - Creative Director

Laura began her career working with Andrew Davies on BBC2’s The Line of Beauty.  She went on to join Kudos where she was a script editor in both development and production, across a wide range of shows. In 2011, Laura became Head of Development for BBC Wales where she developed a diverse slate of drama, including Andrew Davies’ BAFTA-nominated War & Peace.  Laura has script produced Lookout Point’s Les Miserables and is currently executive producing Sally Wainwright’s Gentleman Jack and Andrew Davies’ A Suitable Boy.

AGNES MEATH BAKER - Script Editor

Agnes works across the Lookout Point development slate and is script editing Andrew Davies’ upcoming adaptation of Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables. Agnes joined Lookout Point from Curtis Brown, where she worked with writers and directors as an agent in the Film and TV department. Agnes started her career at DNA Films & TV, working on projects including David Nicholls’ adaptation of Far From the Madding Crowd, Alex Garland’s Ex Machina and Annihilation. She has a degree in Philosophy and German from Oxford University.

STELLA MERZ - Head of Development

Stella’s role as Head of Development involves driving the development of the Lookout Point slate, working with new and established writers at every stage from concept to screen.

Stella began her career in the Film and TV department at United Agents. Since joining Lookout Point in 2016 she has script edited Mike Bartlett’s Press and was script executive on Sally Wainwright’s Gentleman Jack. Alongside nurturing new projects she is currently working on Andrew Davies’ forthcoming adaptation of Vikram Seth’s 20th century classic, A Suitable Boy.

LOUISE MUTTER - Head of Production

Louise worked as a freelance Line Producer for a number of years on productions including Cops, Boudica, Messiah and Cracker. She also worked on the Roath Lock Studio build for BBC Wales and with the BBC drama team on relocating Casualty there from Bristol. She joined Lookout Point from Sky, where she was key to the delivery of its high-end Drama slate starting with Fortitude in 2014 and culminating most recently with Riviera. At Lookout Point she is Head of Production and oversees all of the company’s projects.

NATASHA NEILL - Head of Finance

Natasha is Head of Finance at Lookout Point. She has spent 10 years working in the media industry with roles at KidsCave Entertainment and Entertainment One where she was Head of Finance for the Film Production division for 4 years, alongside Greenbird Media and Shine TV, now part of the Endemol Shine Group, where she was Financial Controller for 4 years. Before joining the media industry Natasha worked at Tottenham Hotspur qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2003.

ELLIE PANAOUTA - Senior Legal and Business Affairs Executive

Ellie is the Senior Legal & Business Affairs Executive at Lookout Point. She works closely with the Head of Legal and Business Affairs and the COO to provide legal advice and support to the development, production and finance teams of the company across all of Lookout Point’s productions.  Prior to joining Lookout Point, she was a Business Affairs Executive at ITV Studios working across a wide-range of scripted drama and non-scripted entertainment productions, such as Vera, Dark Heart, Little Boy Blue, Bancroft and Tonight at the London Palladium. She trained in-house as a solicitor whilst working as a Paralegal at Square Enix in London, providing legal support to the publishing, development, distribution and licensing teams in respect of the company’s videogame slate.

FAITH PENHALE - CEO

Faith began her career in drama production over 20 years ago and has worked on a broad range of shows; from a BAFTA-winning era of EastEnders and the multi-award-winning espionage series Spooks, to Andrew Davies’ critically acclaimed adaptation of War & Peace. Faith worked for ten years at Kudos before running BBC Wales Drama from 2011-2016. Her track record there included the global phenomenon Sherlock and much loved Doctor Who, amongst many other authored pieces collaborating with some of the UK’s most exciting writing talent. From there she joined Lookout Point where, as CEO, she oversees a vibrant slate, including Sally Wainwright’s hugely successful Gentleman Jack for BBC and HBO, Andrew Davies’ recent, highly acclaimed adaptation of the Victor Hugo classic Les Misérables and the forthcoming, ground-breaking adaptation of Vikram Seth’s A Suitable Boy, directed by Mira Nair.

SHANA SAMPSON - Finance Assistant

Shana joined Lookout Point as the accounts assistant to support the finance team. She started her Finance career in production at The Pleasance Trust Ltd where she worked on a number of Edinburgh fringe festivals. She then decided to move on to television and worked at Fremantle Media Ltd as the Production Finance Assistant on the X-Factor. She is really excited to have joined Lookout Point at such an exciting time and is looking forward to her future here.

SAUL VENIT - Chief Operating Officer

Saul joined Lookout Point as COO in 2014 and is responsible for the broad range of Lookout Point’s business activities. Prior to working at Lookout Point, he was Director of Commercial and Legal Affairs at BBC Worldwide, a post that he reached after a 15-year career at the BBC and BBC Worldwide in the UK and US. He holds a degree in History from Cambridge University and qualified as a lawyer in 1998 in a law firm specialising in libel law and intellectual property.
