Lookout Point promotes Damian Keogh to Managing Director

Lookout Point’s Commercial Director, Damian Keogh, has been promoted to MD as part of the company’s continuing expansion as a global producer of drama. In this newly created role, he will work alongside COO, Saul Venit, both reporting to Chairman and Joint CEO, Simon Vaughan and Joint CEO and Creative Director, Faith Penhale.  Keogh joined the company in  February 2016 from BBC Worldwide where he was Head of Drama.

Simon Vaughan says: “Damian’s commercial brilliance and effortless charm has led to him being an indispensable lynchpin in developing and managing many of our most important global relationships.  He has already become a central part of our senior management team and this promotion underscores the pivotal role he will play in the company going forward.”

Faith Penhale commented: “We have a great team and Damian has proved himself to be invaluable. His promotion will help us to drive the strategic development of the company, as well as the everyday, as we deliver an exciting slate of shows and continue to evolve in new and exciting ways.”

The company is also announcing the appointment of Yasmina Hadded as Head of Business Affairs, who is joining Lookout Point from Endemol Shine owned indie, Fifty Fathoms. This follows the recent appointment of Louise Mutter as Head of Production and Francis Hopkinson as Executive Producer.

Lookout Point is currently producing a number of major upcoming dramas including: Mike Bartlett’s Press, Andrew Davies’ adaptation of Les Miserables, Sally Wainwright’s Gentleman Jack and Andrew Davies’ major adaptation of Vikram Seth’s epic novel, A Suitable Boy.
