Lookout Point and Youngest Media also score highly in annual survey
A+E Networks UK has been named the Best Place to Work in British TV in Broadcast’s annual guide to workplace satisfaction.
The Hammersmith-based operator of channels including History, Crime + Investigation and Lifetime scored highest on a series of measures drawn from employee responses to questions about pay, benefits and corporate culture.
Broadcast’s list, published today, features 20 companies, with Endemol Shine companies Kudos, Shine TV and Dragonfly among those to have made the list for the second year running.
Drama producer Lookout Point made second place on the list, with entertainment producer Youngest Media, factual indie Knickerbockerglory – which was last year’s leading company – and Kudos rounding out the top five. The remainder are then ranked in alphabetical order.
The list is produced for Broadcast by benchmarking specialist Best Companies Group and is based on a detailed questionnaire completed by staff and employers at broadcasting industry companies with a UK base.
